1967 UK 1st PRESS *MONO* LP

*RARE EARLY COPY*

This very rare 1967 UK MONO 1st pressing is on the black & silver Verve label: VLP.9184

Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text.

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' mono cover.
Complete with original white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: V 5008A -2 & V 5008B-2
Stamper numbers: 1/M & 1/R

Visual: VERY GOOD

The surfaces are clean and bright; undulled by overplay or improper storager and bear just an occaisional fingernail scuff & non-feelable hairline scratch.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals some sleeve removal hairlines but no other major signs of wear.
Quality, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.

Audio: VERY GOOD

Frequently but not overplayed, some light background is audible during quiet passages together with some minor intermittant peak groovewear.
There is an occaisional light tick between some tracks but no heavy clicks, hiss, jumps or repeats anywhere.

Cover: VERY GOOD

Clean & strong with a bright undamaged front laminate which bears some light edge wrinkles and just 3 'thumbnail' creases.
The lower corners display some light bruising but the opening edges are clean & undamaged with no tears or feathering.
The rear panel has some minor handling discolouration but is otherwise clean and is without any writing or missing paper.
There is a 3cm upper seam repair but the flipbacks & spine are intact & undamaged with all wording present.
