Velvet Underground and Nico First Mono V-5008 Torso
VG+/NM disc in VG+ cover. Superb mono copy,
The disc is like new and plays with very little surface nose. No marks visible or audible. Very clean labels. The original inner bag with Verve group advertising is included. This is the original mono mix.
The cover is in great condition also. The banana was peeled slowly (to see :)) at some point, and looks to be broken below the stalk, and there's a couple of other bubbles and tears but again it's really great. With care it could be put back in a better position to cover the other banana (see close-up photos). The cover looks like it was taped inside plastic at one time, and there are some tape marks and rough surfaces where this has been removed. This is worse on the back. The inside of the gatefold is very clean and the overall condition is great. The spine is clear and uncracked with a tiny chip by the catalog number.
Of course being an early mono copy it the cover has the torso still visible on the back photo. A nice bonus.
Items are play graded. I prefer USPS media postage in the USA, $5 for one/two LPs in sturdy corrugated mailer. LPs are shipped outside their sleeves to prevent more splitting. Multiple wins can be combined.
