Very Rare LP Elvis Presley Rock´n Roll No. 1 HMV CLP 1093 UK 1956 vg(+) Vinyl

Condition: 
Vinyl: vg(+) nice gloss with surface signs of use. No deep scratches, plays fine with light background crackling

Cover: vg(-) has a crack on the front top middle (hard to spot) and a repaired rip at the entry on the back. Also, someone has reglued the upper flipback carelessly and pasted the actual cover over the flipback (can be redone I guess, but I didn´t want to mess with it). Other than that, there are some general signs of ageing and handling, but it´s all there which is worthwhile to mention. Most of these flimsy sleeves have pieces missing etc. as you know.

Label: there´s some touched-up wear around the spindle hole on each side. Frankly, I have no idea what caused this kind of wear, especially since the album itself obviously hasn´t been played to death and is still in fine shape

Note: Not much needs to be said about this piece of music history - Elvis´ first album, 1st UK HMV edition, and for those who don´t know yet, the UK edition is the one that REALLY rocks by omitting the Sun ballads and adding cool stuff like Mystery train, Lawdy miss clawdy etc. that was not on the US counterpart (or elsewhere). This is the definitive Rock´n Roll album!

Please note that the records are only visually graded. Most of my records are between 50 and 60 years old, and even a good looking record can play with crackling. If you´re sensitive about that, ask for a play-test.
