Description
Each side of this record has three (3) grooves that start at the outside edge and play different songs. It was recorded in England by an HMV house band directed by Ray Noble, vocals by Al Bowlly.
Side 1 was recorded at Small Queen's Hall, London on Feb. 19, 1931 and has the songs "The King's Horses", "Okay Baby", and "Wedding Bells Are Ringing For Sally".
Side 2 at Hayes, Middlesex on March 9th, 1931 and has "Bye Bye Blues", "You're Driving Me Crazy", and "Sweet Jennie Lee".
The Novelty Orchestra shown on the label is actually Ray Noble's orchestra with Al Bowlly on vocals
Each song is about 1 minute long. There are 3 grooves on each side of the record and the song you get depends on which groove you start the stylus in. This was released by Victor records in 1931, during the Great Depression. Not a lot were sold making this a very rare record to add to any collection. The condition is VG with the normal wear and tear found on any record 80 years old. The label is intact and readable with bright lettering.
