Victor Records Musical Masterpieces Madama Butterfly 78 RPM 2 Vols.
Orthophonic Recording. Complete set of 16 records in all, divided into 2 volumes.  One of Puccini's masterpiece operas, sung by soprano M. Sheridan. I believe this is Irish soprano Margaret Sheridan who had leading roles at La Scala and Covent Garden, particularly acclaimed for her performances of Puccini's best known female arias.  Vol. I contains Act I in 6 records while the last 2 records cover the first part of Act II.  Vol. II contains remainder of Act II and all of Act III.  None of the records are cracked, chipped, scratched or broken; only some smudges throughout all.  All the leaves are in good shape with a few rips on the bottoms.  Cardboard covers for both volumes are in rough condition with Vol. II having some paint splatter on front cover and separated material from back cover due to water damage.  However, there is no water damage on any of the records.
