Description

Offered are Victor Orthophonic Scroll records. Country, big bands, jazz and folk. Most are from well known recording artists and their bands. Some have light scuffs/scratches due to being nearly 100 years old. They have not been listened to with a few exceptions so are sold as is with no returns. Visual defects and some that were played are commented on below. They will be shipped Media Mail at buyers expense. No charge for packing or materials. Boxes are recycled but sturdy.

The Four Wanderers (African-American vocal quartet, they recorded for Victor in 1929- this was recorded 01-14-1929)- You'se My Lady Love/I Ain't Got Nothin' to Lose (looks great- plays loud and clear- no wear around spindle hole indicates it was hardly played)


Original sleeve- looks good on the front but has dmg on the back as shown in the pics


V-40209 Peg Moreland (folk Music)- When I had but Fifty Cents (needle drop at start- 7 clicks but no skips)/ That's a Habit I Never Had (sl damaged/enlarged spindle hole- 6 sm. Radial cracks straight out from spindle hole but not in grooves)


V-38083 Coon Sanders Orch- Smiling Skies/Louder and Funnier (very clean record)


V-40031 Bud and Joe Billings- Columbus Stockade Blues (1 deep scratch)/ Birmingham Jail
