This is an extremely rare, vintage 8" x 10" promo photograph of Chicago-based soul vocalist General Crook.  Crook released many celebrated soul and funk singles throughout the late '60s and into the '80s.  Photo dates from the early to mid '70s and is in excellent to near mint condition; back is blank.  This is an original vintage item from the '70s, not a recent copy.
