Description
This is a used-but-not-abused copy of a pretty rare record-it appears to be Aladdin's initial attempt at a 12" LP- I'm guessing it was released around '57 as the Gene & Eunice sides date the latest- from '55. A lot of the other stuff is back even into the 40's- see Helen Humes. Hopefully you can read the title listing- if not email me and I'll post. But- 2 Amos Milburn, 1 Five Keys[!], 2 H. Humes, and a Charles Brown + 6 makes for a swingin' Aladdin R&B party. Any Aladdin LP is a cause for celebration- for once, here's one that isn't in hammered condition. The cover has seam splitting top & bottom but retains its original gloss and has not yellowed appreciably- the record is in very nice shape with some superficial scuffing from handling- Hey-it's over 50 years old!
