Hi! Fresh from my grandparents estate - Irving Berlin's "Blue Skies" - A Paramount Technicolor Production with Bing Crosby/Fred Astaire - Lyrics and Music by irving Berlin - 78 rpm record albums mfg by Decca Records-Album No A-481! First of all, a little history about these albums...My grandparents and great grandparents loved their music, and over their life times, purchased several albums - when they were new. Some were played often and others,hardly at all. These are just a tiny example of the huge collection that I will be listing in the next couple of weeks! I do not have the old Victrola to test these,but they appear to be in very good used condition. This set includes the following-sides 1&2:(1)Blue Skies/(I'll See You In)Cuba, (2) You Keep Coming Back Like A Song/(Running Around In Circles)Getting No Where, (3)A Serenade To An Old-Fashioned Girl/Everybody Step, (4) All By Myself/I've Got My Captain working For Me Now, and (5) A Couple Of Song And Dance Men/Puttin' On The Ritz. This set also has the original song book with the words for each song and a brief biography of Bing Crosby,Fred astaire, and Irving Berlin - copyright 1946! The cases have the normal marks and tattered edges from use and age, but are still in very good condition, considering they are over 60 years old! On the inside cover,there is a light stain and "Christmas 1946" is hand written beside the picture.Thankyou for checking these out! Keep watching-there will be more!
