Description

This is a Vogue Picture Record from 1948, number R772, "All by Myself" and "Sniffle Song".  Artist is Frankie Masters and his orchestra.
Both A and B sides are in very nice shape with bright colors and no cracks/scratches.  Please note these records are at least 75 years old!
This is the third set of Vogue records I've collected and sold over the years.  I'm listing 14 this time around.  I've never played any of them and instead displayed them on a wall.
Please read some of the background stories on the internet about Vogue, SAV-WAY Industries in Detroit, Tom Saffaday, etc. Fascinating story.  The records were made of very durable vinyl and had an unbreakable metal core (although they could chip around the edges). They cost twice as much as regular, non-picture, records and were popular with DJs at the time because of their long-wearing characteristics.
Unfortunately, the company didn't last long.  There were issues with quality control and Saffaday couldn't afford to get the top artists of the day.  Price of records mostly based on rarity as some a quite common while others, including training records, are extremely rare.
Ships by USPS Media Mail in the USA.  Please see the other titles available; I will combine records to save on shipping. Thanks!
