Description
Being offered is what i believe to be a UK first pressing of Thin Lizzy's "Live and dangerous" released on Vertigo in 1978. There are so many variants of the matrix run outs listed on Discogs that i gave up trying to work it out but
Side 1 , this copy has 9199645 1 y//3 UT 13 14 A lyre symbol Side 2, lyre symbol 9199645 2y//2 UT 11 9either a 1 without accents or a vertical line 0 c 2 20
side 3 9199646 y//3 UT vertical line 1 8 lyre symbol side 4lyre symbol 9199646 2y//1 UT 110 1 5

I have listened to all the tracks. the previous owner had kept the records in expensive antic static Nagaoka sleeves and so had kept them in very good condition. I will send the vinyl with the antic static sleeves .
You can see from photos 3,5 ,7 and 9 there is no apparent spindle wear and there is hardly any evidence of them being played and no surface wear . The only disturbance to the sound that causes me to give them a top end VG+ grade rather than my rarely awarded excellent grade is that on side 3 on "The Boys are back in Town" there are three very faint clicks and on side 4 as Phil Lynott introduces the encore "The Rocker" just beneath his talking you can hear three faint clicks. otherwise nothing to disturb your listening pleasure
The inners, photos 10,11,12 and 13 , have no tears or creases but if you look closely there is some slight shelf wear stooge rubbing to the corners and edges but v minor.
No tears to the record sleeve although you will see there is some rubbing to the inner joint, see photos 17 and 18.
If you look closely at the photos of teh sleeve you will be able to see its overall solid condition but I hacve taken acopule of close ups as there might be areas you overlook.
Photo 22 there is some grubbiness towards the bottom right hand edge. You can see from photo 1 that there is some rubbing to the top and bottom right hand corner, there is also the same amount of rubbing to the inners of the corners, , photo 23 and 24 show this.
There is also some rubbing to the spine corners but you can see this on photos 19. Photo 20, shows that there is some rubbing to the top edge and photo 21 shows there is some rubbing to the bottom edge.
