Description
Both Volumes 1 and 2. Both complete with all extras. Typically meticulous Japanese re-issues, faithful to the original in every detail. No fake digital "enhancements" to the original audio. The high quality vinyl is in pristine, clean condition. Truly fine pressings. Photos show jacket condition of each LP.

Volume 1, side one features Gigi Gryce playing the album's tunes backed by the rhythm section of Duke Jordan, Oscar Pettiford and Kenny "Klook" Clarke. Side two is this rhythm section minus Gigi Gryce, rhythm section only.
Volume 2, side one features Phil Woods playing the album's tunes with the rhythm section of Hal Overton, Teddy Kotick and Nick Stabulas. Side two is rhythm section only.
You get to play or sing along with these classic rhythm sections. And they give you plenty of choruses to stretch out on.
