Description

Original and very rare historic 1952 JEAN RITCHIE debut 10" LP record by Elektra, a first pressing with blue logo and script on labels: Jean Ritchie Singing the Traditional Songs of her Kentucky Mountain Family. Catalogue EKLP-2. Record sides marked JH-505. Original small lyric book insert included but in a partial state with a tear and only one page left showing three songs. Appalachian dulcimer, "Mother of Folk", Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Cumberland Kentucky Mountains interest. 
Condition: Used and preowned with imperfections from age and use like smudges and scratches. Edge wear, discoloration, and marks to slipcase with old faded "20 cent" price handwritten in upper righthand corner. Reverse has blue handwritten symbols (?) along upper righthand edge. Selling as-is; see pics for more details.
