Condition : laminated cover on both sides shows some moderate edge wear in particular along the opening side, EX / vinyl has some scuffs which do not affect play at all, EX+
GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED
Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.
Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.
Note : tre brani strumentali. "Hola, Mack Sennett" è un simpatico e vivace ragtime suonato dal pianoforte, "Tema de Astrid" è un tema romantico per piano ed orchestra. "La Vuelta al Mundo en 80 Twist" è una piacevole girandola di differenti generi musicali che spaziano dal sinfonico al jazz blues, dal can-can al folk Spagnolo e così via.
Notes : three instrumental tracks. "Hola, Mack Sennett" is characterized by a fun and lively ragtime piano, "Tema de Astrid" is a romantic theme for piano and orchestra. "La Vuelta al Mundo en 80 Twist" is a pleasant whirlwind of different sonorities ranging from symphonic music to jazz blues, from can-can to Spanish folk and so on.
