TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is another of those early and highly collectible LP`s sung by the great '60's female recording artist, Wanda Jackson. It was her very first album release from back in 1960, and is another album in excellent overall condition (but please read on). For all you Wanda Jackson fans I have listed her highly collectible first four LP releases in this week's auction, so please check in and view them all. This LP - her ultra collectible 1st release is self-entitled "Wanda Jackson" - and has 12 great songs, including her classic, rockin' hit single, "Let's Have A Party", and 11 other really good tunes done as only Wanda Jackson can do them - and it even comes with a Capitol Records inner sleeve advertising other company LPs of the time. All of this is in MONO, on the Capitol Label, and in super good overall condition (see the pictures above for all of the song titles and more). LABEL INFO: This original Capitol Label (T 1041) is nearly perfect with no real serious issues - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which leads me to believe it had very little actual play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also very shiny, clean, and nice with no serious flaws to report at all - in my opinion the vinyl looks about as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is mostly fine and again close to perfect - although there are a couple issues I need to mention. Both of these issues are in the very top corners of the front and back side. It appears that a previous owner tried to categorize the record by using scotch tape and a marker. The discolored tape and a marker number (D 6) are both still on the backside and trying to remove this tape appears to have made a small rip on the front side (all of this is pictured in the pictures above so please check that out). Otherwise though, both the front and back sides are just fine and nearly perfect. INTERESTING FACTS: As always, I list my records with no "reserve prices", so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
