Description

Artist:  WARNE MARSH QUARTET

                                     

Title:   “Music for Prancing”

 

Label:   MODE.  Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl.  Label is red and black with silver text.  Catalog number is MOD-LP 125.    

 

Year:  1957.

 

Personnel:   Warne Marsh – tenor sax;  Ronnie Ball – piano;  Red Mitchell – bass;  Stan Levey - drums.   

 

Condition: 

 

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NM-, a beauty!  The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, played a small number of times and handled with care.  Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine. 

 

JACKET:   Jacket is nice VG++.  Front is clean except for a very tiny blemish at the top center and a ding at the top right corner that has caused a very small split at the opening, less than one inch.  There is also a very tiny split at the bottom left corner on the spine, also less than one inch and almost unnoticeable.  Reverse has darkened a bit around the edges, and there are two slight creases at the bottom left on the reverse.  No writing, stickers, cutout indications, or other flaws.  Overall a very fine jacket to accompany the lovely disc.
