STUNNING!
A transcendent LP, Ivan Moravec here produces magic on his favorite Bechstein piano, playing beautiful music of Claude Debussy.
Included selections are the CHILDREN’S CORNER SUITE, CLAIR DE LUNE, LA CATHEDRALE ENGLOUTIE, and FEUX D’ARTIFICE, among others, all recorded at 30ips, monitored with AR-3 speakers at the time, then cut using variable width technology without an ounce of equalization, compression, or artificial reverberation. (The heads were left wide open from 16Hz to out past 25KHz.)
Wonderful performances, great sound, here in a cover without major fault, record within will play NM- to VG+.
