Description

Up for auction is an lp from WILBUR WARE QUINTET Featuring JOHNNY GRIFFIN for his/their album titled "The Chicago Sound"
This vinyl album was released in 1957 on Riverside Records in High Fidelity Mono (RLP 12-252)
This is an original US 1957 DG pressing with blue label / silver print -- tape reel and microphone top center logo --and is guaranteed not a later issue of any kind.

Condition:
Vinyl is in VG (Very Good) visual grade condition.
Playgrade wise, this typically plays VG or better (often at VG+ mostly), but --- there is a couple of feelable scratches that cause some clicking, crackles and pops during the portions. Between the two scratches, probably a couple of minutes worth of interrupted playback. So... this copy is not for the audiophile, but it may fill in the collection for a fan. Starting price was taken into consideration for this reason.
Album Cover is fairly clean and well preserved with just some standard aging/shelf wear and typical handling wear.
Solid Binding! No Seam Splits! Clean, Readable Spine!
