Willis- Willis lathe cut LP (A Stabbies And The Rockets Reissue)
lathe cut reissue of a prior cassette release
Reissued on Stefan Neville of Pumice's Stabbies And The Rocket imprint, this was once a cassette on the Plop label, a collective involving (as I understand it) Neville, Clayton Noone (of CJA, The Futurians and Armpit) and GFrenzy (who is Willis).Insample called this "one of the finer 'lost' local recordings".
The whole of what I know of Willis is found in this brief line from Crawlspace Records circa 1999:
"Willis are from up-per Hutt. They are Glen Frenzy (Teen X Ray GFrenzy)"
Glen Frenzy has performed as a member of Armpit, as a guest on Birchville Cat Motel's "With Maples Ablaze". Dead Raven Choir's "My Firstborn Will Surely Be Blind" and Pumice's "Let's Treat The Pig's Head As Dip" "Punches" and "Worldwide Skull".
LP is MINT- (with any lathe cut record there will be a fair amount of surface noise, this is the nature of the format/Cover is MINT-.
