Wishbone Ash self titled 1970 UK original vinyl album on the MCA red/pink 'dogbone' label, catalogue number MKPS 2014 (stereo)
The numbers and letters stamped on the vinyl are: Side One: 7-224 2 U JT Side Two: 7-225 1 U JT
This is a heavy vinyl and it is not warped. Side One appears only to have light, wispy scratches from being moved in and out of the bag, Side Two looks very similar - I can not feel any of these very faint marks or lines. The record does not seem to have been played very often and it sounds brilliant, a little surface crackle in the quiet parts, but nothing at all serious - it is really clean.
The track titles can be seen on the label photographs. There are very few faint spindle lines, no writing, no damage.
The cover is a gatefold type, it doesn't have any coating or laminate. There is a little surface rub wear but not very much and there is some small scuffs along the tips of the edges. This is a really nice cover, it shows just a little age but is really excellent. The centre piece is just about how it would have been when new.
The spine is quite wide and square, fully readable and in excellent condition with just a couple of tiny scratches, very little rub wear on the tips and even less on the edges.
The inner sleeve is the original, blue on white stereo with a poly-liner, fully intact, no seam splits or tears.
I have checked the Record Collector grading system and I would say the cover is 'excellent' and the record is 'excellent'.
I have described this as carefully and honestly as possible, but it is a no return item so please bid accordingly.
It will be packed in a record mailing box (cruciform) with two pieces of card inside for further protection.
