1st pressing with the incorrect 'Jobete' credit for "Money" and the incorrect spelling of "You Really Gotta Hold on Me" on the label. Later pressings were changed to the correct 'Dominion Belinda' credit for "Money" and the correct spelling of "You Really Got A Hold on Me". Comes in the first pressing sleeve which also has the 'Gotta' mispelling - later sleeves were changed to 'Got a'.

Cover: Garrod & Lofthouse 1st pressing laminated front (unlaminated rear) with triple flip-backs. No writings, doodles or seam splits. Usual wear and tear expected of these covers after nearly 50 years of being handled. Rates as VG+ to Near Excellent - see photos.

 

Original EMI poly-lined inner sleeve: VG+. 

 

Labels: Very Good. Light scratch on Side 2 and some spindle wear. 

 

 

Vinyl:  Play tested. Thick heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl. Looks Near Excellent with a nice sheen and a couple of light non-feelable marks. No skips/jumps. Has a slight edge warp which has no affect on play back. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent with only minor crackle in places. A true testament to the quality of this 1st pressing vinyl.

Gradings.......

 

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
