PARLOPHONE - PMC 1206 - MONO - 1963 UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL

Very rare UK 1st mono pressing copy from 1963 with earliest 1N/1N matrix, original label text ('Recording first Published..' and no 'Sold In UK'), the 'Jobete' credit for 'Money' and 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' misprint on both label & rear of sleeve (later corrected to 'Got To'). The tax code on the side 1 label is MT.
This 1st pressing was deemed to be cut with the bass too loud and was quickly withdrawn from sale, hence it being known as the 'loud cut'.

CONDITION (vinyl/cover)
GOOD+ (used not abused copy with surface wear and some light surface marks but no bad scratches or damage; the record plays well throughout with some deterioration of sound & top-end distortion evident in some songs but absolutely no major surface noise - no loud crackle & pop, no clicks or ticks, no jumping or sticking; both labels in a very good state with no writing, tears or staining)
/ VG (the laminated flipback sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse is in nice solid shape with no significant creases or major wear; no writing, no tears, no splits and the spine is still fully readable; rear has some storage wear - see photos)
