PARLOPHONE - PMC 1206 - 1963 - UK - MONO

Very rare UK 1st mono pressing copy from 1963 with earliest 1N/1N matrix, original label text ('Recording first Published..' and no 'Sold In UK'), the 'Jobete' credit for 'Money' and 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' misprint on both label & rear of sleeve (later corrected to 'Got To'). The tax code on the side 2 label is MT.

Comes in the 1st issue laminated flipback sleeve by Garrod & Lofthouse with large 'mono' logo and with darker shadows on the faces then later issues.

CONDITION (vinyl/cover)

VG (used copy with some light surface wear/marks/scuffs but no damage or significant/deep scratches; I played the album in full and can confirm record plays very well throughout with strong audio and just some mild distortion that does not spoil the music - there is no major surface noise, no significant crackling, pops or clicks)

/ VG (sleeve in solid shape with some storage wear and no major defects - see photos)

with original tracing-paper Emitex inner sleeve
