Description

WOLFGANG DAUNER FREE ACTION

DESCRIPTION:

On offer with no reserve…
Wolfgang Dauner’s ‘Free Action’ (1967) Featuring Jean-Luc Ponty, Gerd Dudek, Eberhard Weber, Mini Neumeier (Guru Guru) et al. This is the first pressing on the Saba ‘Tree’ label and sounds as free as the title implies. The entire session is a full power Europian Improvisational workout. Taking in many influences Dauner creates a crossover sound that MPS championed in the mid to late 60s. Housed in it’s original gatefold cover this LP is in superb condition ........ Please see below for: Sound clips taken from the actual LP for sale, detailed photos and full condition report

CONDITION:

A note on grading I use the Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Thorens TD-124 MKII with an SME 3012 Tonearm and Ortofon SPU moving Coil Cartridge.

I have been collecting and trading records for many years and genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase. For this reason I treat grading very seriously and strictly enough to please all potential bidders (See feedback for peace of mind)… All of Audio Grails records are guaranteed. If you'd like any further details, feel free to e-mail me with your questions or requests.

Record:
The surfaces feature a full lustre under direct angled light, the playing surface is wonderful with no sign of use, there are no other detractors. The disk is flat with no warp or buckle of any kind. The first press red Saba Tree labels show NO signs of use to the spindle hole. There is no writing, rips, stickers or other detractors. Condition grade visually = NM Aurally = NM …Please take the time to study the images above and listen to the sound clips which I hope illustrate the condition of this record far better than wordy descriptions

Cover:

The thick card front laminated gatefold cover has retained it’s original colour, the edges / seams are arrow straight and the corners sharp and true. The spine is fully legible and the opening edge is sharp and un feathered. The top left of the cover displays a mild bruse. The back cover displays a small scuff to the lamination top right and some ‘markings’ which appear to be underneath the laminate mid left No, stickers, rips, seam splits or tears. The inside of the Gatefold displays very mild foxing only. Condition Grade = EX+ (Excellent Plus) Please take the time to study the images above for a clear view of condition
