This is not the first issue on SABA but the ca. 4 years later german pressing on the red MPS/BASF label,CRM 624.It still has the ulraheavy laminated gatefold-cover.Recorded on May,2nd,1967 at MPS studio Villingen,Black Forest.Cover-painting “Free Action” by W.Dauner.

One of Europe’s most inventive free-jazz recordings by a killer septet line-up.Full of great structures,abstruse noise,unique prepared-piano sounds,fiery drumming on 2 drum-kits,eastern tabla-sounds and more.Great stuff and essential for collectors of euro-free-jazz!

Condition:the record looks mint-- to ex+ with a few tiny hairlines on a shiny surface.Side 1 plays in mint- all of the time,Side 2 has the first track playing in ex for ca. 20 seconds,the rest of side 2 also plays in mint-.The heavy gatefold-cover has intact seams/spine with only slightest rub in a just few parts,only at the opening’s top there is a ca. 0,7 mm(= ca. 0,3 inch)split;front,back & inner show slight shelfwear,overall ex to ex+.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
