A must for the Wolfgang Dauner collector, this is the Very Rare Lp, “The Oimels,” Original pressing on the MPS label from Germany. The Quintet includes Dauner, keyboards and vocals; Eberhard Weber, bass, cello and vocals; Siegfied Schwab, guitar and sitar; Pierre Cavalli, guitar; and Roland Wittich, drums, vocals. The music is a combination of jazz fusion, progressive and psychedelic rock with exotic elements. Even the recent reissue is going for a lot of money and this is the Original!
The Vinyl has a number of hairline scratches with surface noise, but is quite listenable. The Jacket has a bent/crumpled upper left corner, and some other light creases that appear on the back and inside the gatefold/foldout cover.
