The quartet was formed by Earl Weatherford in 1947, in Los Angeles, California, where daily radio and per- sonal appearances kept them busy year after year. They soon became widely known as one of the finest gospel and religious groups in the music field. In 1953 this ver- satile group moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where they became a part of the staff of radio station WOWO. Later, they joined the personnel of The Cathedral of To- morrow in Akron, Ohio, where their inspirational music was enjoyed over television and radio. Today, acting as an independent singing group, the quartet is heard—north, south, east and west—through- out the land at church meetings, concerts, over radio and television and, of course, adding their artistry to the “All Night Sings.” This recording, Rainbow of Love, gives voice to the personal dedication of each member of this fine group.
