Description
This is an early Acetate versionof the Plasmatics album "New Hope for the wretched", with different song titles, song sequence, and some different versions. Never Released in this form. I found it by chance in the early 1980s and have stored it in perfect condition ever since. I estimate that only 5 to 10 copies were ever made of this, which would make it one of the rarest punk albums ever made. To many of us the Plasmatics rank higher in Punk heaven than perhaps even the Ramones. This album sounds absolutely fantastic and raw.
What are Acetates? Acetates are one off pressings made in the recording studio for the artists and managers so they can hear what the proposed record sounds like. Many times the artists changes his/her mind if they think they have better ideas (as in this particular case).
