This superb UK 2nd STEREO pressing dates from early 1964 and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3045

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

A faint 'K' purchase tax code letter is visible around the centre of the side 2 label.

The publishing credit for 'Money' is 'Dominion. Belinda (Ldn.) Ltd. NCB'

Matrix numbers: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2

Stamper codes: 1/O & -/GD

Vinyl weight: 151g

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a mid-sized stereo front indicator.

The rear track-listing has the corrected 'You Really Got A Hold On Me' spelling.

Complete with an original 'Use Emitex..' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A spectacular set with no spindle trails around either centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine playing surfaces which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines and are unmarked in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a single faint 5mm mark on track 3 on side 2 which is the only factor preventing a straight MINT grade. There are not even any wispy paper hairlines anywhere on this impressive disc which also lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: NEAR MINT

This barely, if ever played copy plays flawlessly with perfect full, clean & clear audio throughout. My careful play-check uncovered no trace of any groove/play wear on any track or in either channel or any clicks, pops, background interference or any other evidence of audible wear throughout. This wonderful sounding copy will not require upgrading.

Cover: EXCELLENT

An extremely respectable example of this scarce cover variant which retains a clean undamaged & unyellowed front panel which bears just a light bend towards the lower right corner and and handful of laminate wrinkles, but no major signs of wear. There is a tiny bruise to the upper left corner but all others are damage/wear-free. Both opening edges are clean & unworn with no tears or feathering to either side. The exposed rear panel is perfectly clean, umarked and unblemished with no trace of handling or storage. Both seams and the fully worded spine are all smooth, unstressed & unsplit.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with slight age-toning but no writing, tears or seam splits.
