CONDITION
Disc
Labels: NEAR MINT
Just two light spindle marks to each.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Incredibly for a first pressing of this title, the disc appears to be in pristine, unmarked 'MINT' condition when viewed in strong daylight. Close inspection under halogen light reveals just 3 small, faint inner-sleeve removal marks on side 2. However, side 1 is totally unmarked and ‚shop new‘ with not even any wispy paper hairlines visible to either side.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has most likely been played only TWICE and the sound from this initial, massive sounding '-1N' cut is outstanding in its clarity and power. All tracks play 'as new' and with no traces of background noise or groovewear distortion - even on the easily damaged innermost cuts. Both run-ins and all bands play silently and of course there are no clicks, pops, jumps or indeed any traces of audible wear on a copy which would be extremely difficult to upgrade.
Cover:
VERY GOOD
This early example has been stored and untouched for many years and general storagewear is its only significant fault. The front panel is bright & glossy with just minor creasing to the lower right corner but no 'thumbnails'. The corners bear and opening edges have some light wear with the only significant fault being a small 5mm cut to the front mid-way down the front opening edge. The rear panel has some discolouration from storage and the original retailer's sticker adhered to the lower flipback. All the flipbacks are intact, both seams are unstressed and unsplit and the spine is fully & clearly worded.
- Strict grading under strong daylight & halogen light based upon UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I play every record I sell at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks & all sleeves have no writing, splits or tears.
- The listing photos have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are packed tightly in strong custom made record boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
