Description
On offer is an excellent copy of the Yellow/Black Parlophone LP With the Beatles as released in stereo on Parlophone PCS 3045. This particular pressing was released in 1965. The original flip back LP cover has a small ‘stereo’ printed in the top right hand corner. The label has ‘SOLD IN UK SUBJECT…’ and ‘THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD’ reference around the rim of the printed label. The matrixes are Side 1 – YEX 110-2 and Side 2 – YEX 111-2. It comes housed in its’ original ‘USE EMITEX’ inner sleeve.
The sleeve and disc are both in lovely condition. The sleeve has no tears or writing with just minimal signs of wear. The disc is in lovely condition and has a nice sheen with no blemishes. It is very clean as is the label which does NOT have the unsightly spindle marks one sees so often on these Beatles LPs. The disc has not been played very often and has been housed in its’ sleeve inside a plastic sleeve for at least the last 20 years. I have just played it for the first time in many years and it played beautifully. Overall this is an excellent example of this stereo LP.
