Original press on distortion records! Super rare and dosen't pop up often. Here Is a review:
WOLFPACK - "Lycanthro Punk" was their 2nd album and is probably the best material by the band, ex-cluding the WOLFBRIGADE era. This recording featured Jonsson (Vocalist of ANTI-CIMEX) on Vocals. This was released on the known for ripping off people label, Distortion Records. The pressing info may be a mystery as all of the Distortion releases get repressed in small quanities sometimes on Color vinyl, I'm guessing when the owner is running low on cash he does a repress to cash in? I have this in a Gatefold sleeve which includes the lyrics inside I've heard of the Regular sleeves of this LP never came with an insert but I'm not 100% on that. The CD version of this is also way OOP sometimes selling around $25+, some people sell it cheaper every now and then. I read in '04 that this was going to be re-issued by Epistrophy but I guess that fell through. Well to give a brief history of the band after this album Jonsson was kicked out of the band because his drinking became too much of a problem, The singer of AVSKUM actually told me when they played here a couple of years ago that Jonsson still has a drinking problem. He was later replaced by Micke who did an excellent job on the replacement and the band released a few more albums and 7"s which are still in print if you check your local/friendly distros. They recorded one more album under the name WOLFPACK and later changed it to WOLFBRIGADE when finding out that there was a Skinhead Org. that went by the name WOLFPACK. The band decided to break up in '04 when they were planning a U.S. tour, Micke had busted his vocal cords and it required surgery to repair so they released a "final" 12" EP titled "A D-Beat Odyssey" with Poffen (Vocalist of TOTALITAR) helping out on Vocals. A year or two later Ex members of the band formed a new band named "TODAY'S OVERDOSE" but with Micke on Vocals, which I thought was really weird since WOLFBRIGADE was still broken up. But a few months later they got together and re-formed WOLFBRIGADE and recorded new material.
