Description
Wooden Horse were a British folk/prog folk band who released two albums in the early 1970's . This single is from their second album " Wooden Horses II " , released in 1973 and is coupled with the track Typewriter and Guitar. A 1970’s acoustic folk band, known for their use of close vocal harmonies, the band featured Susan Traynor (a.k.a. Noosha Fox) as the female vocalist in this group. Songwriters David Mateer and Malcom Harrison provided vocals and guitar. The line-up was completed by Steve Marwood on lead guitar and Neil Brockbank on bass.
Wooden Horse grew up out of the grass-roots of the 70’s London folk scene and were often likened to American acts such as Crosby Stills and Nash, Neil Young, and Peter, Paul and Mary. The band released two LPs, which were very rare and released with a limited number:
-Wooden Horse (1972)
-Wooden Horse II (1973)
None of their records sold in any great quantities making them highly collectable.
This is a Demonstration Single on York Records with a release date of 2/2/73 making it 40 years old this month. The sleeve is merely a paper insert. The record is in excellent condition displaying barely any wear and only slight wisps around the spindle hole.

Postage: I do not make a packing/handling charge and always try to recycle packaging materials where possible. It is also never my intention to make extra money out of postage but postage costs also include where appropriate, new jiffy bags, cardboard tubes etc.
All items are sent well packaged and I send all UK items via recorded delivery and this is included in my postage costs. The cost to send items via insured/signed for Airmail varies according to the value of the item. If you live overseas I will quote you for both standard airmail and insured Airmail. If any item is lost and has not been sent recorded delivery I cannot be held responsible.
