ARTIST / TITLE / LABEL:   The Mothers of Invention  /  The ***** of the Mothers  [translated usually as "Worst of the Mothers", but the label titles read: "The Mothers; The Mothers of Invention"]  /  Verve Records, distributed by MGM  /  catalog # V6 5074  /  original 1969 release with original cover and labels, not the 1971 version  /  gatefold cover, heavy vinyl  /  tracks are culled from the albums Freak Out!, Absolutely Free, and We're Only In It for the Money  

The vinyl is play-graded, conservatively, in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition (many sellers would grade the entire record Very Good Plus, but we're being ultra-careful).  Aside from some noise between tracks and several loud pops in the middle of the song "Concentration Moon", there's nothing objectionable for the experienced collector (in fact most of the LP plays Near Mint, but those aforementioned pops downgrade it).  A very nice listen, nonetheless. 

The gatefold cover is in Very Good Plus condition: very minor edge wear (the kind you have to look for) and one small tear to the surface paste-down on the inside, at the upper left edge.
