Description
Up for auction is a very long out of print audiophile limited edition record from my personal collection:
ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING MFSL LP 1-077 YES - CLOSE TO THE EDGE.
This is simply the best sounding version of this progressive rock classic, half speed mastered by Stan Ricker from the original stereo master tapes and pressed onto virgin vinyl in Japan. One of the best mastering jobs from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. Extremely rare to find in this factory sealed condition.
Cover: FACTORY SEALED NEAR MINT (see scan). Still sealed foldout cover by Roger Dean. Slight, hardly noticeable top seam split (4 cm) which can be fixed with two little drops of glue once opened. Otherwise great condition. The seal baggy is a bit opaque due to its age.
Vinyl: FACTORY SEALED/MINT. Unopened and unplayed. JVC Japan pressing.
