Description
If you followed the Beatles back in the day, then you were there when it started to fall apart. Here is a purported reason why: Apple Records became self-indulgent (normal for an artist-run label), and suffered from excesses. "Fly" by Yoko Ono might be considered one of those excesses inasmuch as it was never going to sell enough copies to recoup costs. Both vinyl albums are in NM condition, and inside their original John Lennon-doodle art sleeves. Included is a typical Yoko Ono artistic expression in the form of a postcard (an invitation) titled: "A Hole To See The Sky Through" as shown in the photo. Gate-fold cover is in EX (or better) condition with slight ring wear, and rubbing at corners. As a free bonus, I will include the YOKO ONO 12-inch single "Hell In Paradise", issued on Polydor Records, #883 455-1, in 1985 ........ music very different from her debut on Apple. Vinyl is minty fresh; contains a couple of remixes on reverse side; and the label is marked "Promotional Only - Not For Sale".
