Description

 “YOUNG GIRLS OF ROCHEFORT” SOUNDTRACK 2 1968 LP (E) SIGNED BY MICHEL LEGRAND & GEORGE CHAKIRIS w/COA!


This delightful 1968 Jacques Demy French musical starred Gene Kelly, George Chakiris, and real-life sisters Catherine Deneuve and Francoise Dorleac.  Here we have the Philips double soundtrack LP in Excellent (E) condition, signed with black Sharpie on the cover by Oscar winner Chakiris and composer Michel Legrand.  Legrand signed at a tribute to him at the American Cinematheque’s Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, Ca. in 2013 and Chakiris did so at a screening of “West Side Story” around the same time at the then American Cinematheque’s Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. 

Please note there is a cut-out or punch-out in the center of both the front and back covers, going through to the center of the LP, indicating it was once sold at a discount. There is a booklet attached to the inside of the gatefold LP and also an ad insert.
