Description
This is a 7", seven inch flexi disc by The Pleasure Garden performing the song Permissive Paradise. The record was released to promote the publication of the book YOUNG LONDON by the photographer Frank Habicht in 1969.
Side one, Young London is narrated by Norman Tozer with contributions from DJs Emperor Rosko and Jonathan King as well as street interviews with young Londoners and 'grumpy' grownups.
Side two, Permissive Paradise by The Pleasure Garden who were apparently The Iveys/Badfinger. The song went unnoticed for many years but is now fully documented on the internet.
The record comes in the original paper sleeve which is in relatively good condition with a couple of creases bottom left corner, some chips along top edges and some rubs and marks.
The record plays very well with no scratches or jumps.
If you've got the book...you're lucky as it's a rarity these days, as is this promotional disc in any condition.
