Yanos Starker Bach Suites For The Unaccompanied Cello Mercury OL3-116 PROMO COPY
Up for your consideration is a one of a kind recording for the classical music enthusiast. This is a mono promotional copy of the Bach unaccompanied cello suites played by Yanos Starker. Included in this set is the box set with 3 LP's, a promotional 2 page letter dated February 15, 1966 from Mercury Classical News with the detailed timings, the booklet, and additional promo letter... Everything that you see in the pictures. The box is stamped "Promotional Copy Not For Sale". The record labels are much different than the ones that are available in the retail market. They are gold, and they state "For Broadcast Only - Not For Sale".
The Matrix numbers are: Side 1 - MG50445A RFR-1 Side 2 - MG50445B RFR-1 Side 3 - MG50446A RFR-1 Side 4 - MG50446B RFR-1 Side 5 - MG50447A RFR-1 Side 6 - MG50447B RFR-1
The records are all graded EX to M-. The inner booklet is M. The letter is M. The additional promo letter is VG+ because it has been folded. The box is VG+, due to the wear on the bottom two corners (see pics).
