Description

Yma Sumac
Voice of the Xtabay
Mid 1960's pressing.
Capitol Records - W-684
Vinyl is EX++ to Mint-
Vinyl looks EX++ to Mint-: a few, light, small, faint marks.
Vinyl plays EX++ to Mint- : light background-crackle faintly in some quiet passages.
Label side 1 is EX++ to Mint- : minor imperfections.
Cover is EX to EX+ : intact seams; drill-hole top-left; small bends, light wear (right-side corners and edge) and faint indentations; shrink is partially attached.
The original inner-sleeve has intact seams and a small drill-hole.
Includes a HQ inner-sleeve which the vinyl is stored in after a professional machine-cleaning and grading.
Out of print ~

Sumac's first and most popular release, and also one of her least hokey or pop-oriented. That's not to say it's without its mass-appeal elements, especially in the arrangements, conducted by Les Baxter. Originally issued as a 10-inch LP"....
