Originally released in June 1981, just seven months after the tragic death of John Lennon, “Season of Glass” is widely regarded as one of Yoko Ono’s most powerful and personal works.
This 45th Anniversary Edition has been newly remastered from the original tapes and pressed on limited White Color Vinyl.
The album reached the U.S. Top 50 upon release, received a four-star review from Rolling Stone, and was later selected by Pitchfork as one of the “200 Best Albums of the 1980s.”
Exploring themes of love, loss, grief, fear, and resilience, Season of Glass stands today as one of Yoko Ono’s most acclaimed artistic statements.
This Japan edition faithfully recreates the original artwork and includes a newly produced booklet featuring previously unpublished photographs, a special poster, Japanese liner notes, lyrics, and translations.
