Yvonne Lefébure, born on 29 June 1898, studied at the Conservatoire de Paris, classe Alfred Cortot, won first prize in 1912. Many performances with the Lamoureux and Colonne orchestras, recitals throughout Europa and the United States, taught at the Conservatoire de Paris from 1952 - 1967. She died on 23 January 1986
