Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1954 U.S. PRESS 10" DEEP GROOVE MONAURAL NEW JAZZ RECORDS LP titled 'Zoot Sims In Hollywood' from from tenor sax man Zoot Sims. It is New Jazz Records catalog number LP 1102. Personnel: Zoot Sims-tenor sax / Stu Williamson-trombone / Kenny Drew-piano / Ralph Penna-bass / Jimmy Pratt-drums. Back album cover is blank, so no other information is available. Tracks: Howdy Podner, Indian Summer, Toot No. 2, What's New. Condition of this record is conservatively a mid VG+ with a small amount of surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play, and one very tiny surface scratch which can barely be felt and which causes a couple of barely audible ticks. Record is a thick and rigid deep groove pressing and plays very nicely. There is also one very tiny bump in the vinyl which is a very slight pressing defect and which also does not affect play. Labels are nice with no problems. Condition of cover is conservatively a low to mid VG+ with a small area of yellow adhesive residue on the back cover from a previously removed small price sticker, a 2-1/2" split in the right side of the top edge, some contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no tears and no writing. Please e-mail me if you need any other information. A choice addition to any modern jazz record collection! Winning bidder pays $4.25 insured media mail postage or actual insured priority mail postage within the U.S. E-mail me for shipping charges outside the U.S. Personal checks must clear. I now accept payment via PayPal. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
