Zoot Suit Original Soundtrack “Zoot Suit” 33-1/3 RPM Vinyl 12” 1981 Original Soundtrack Record Album DESCRIPTION “Zoot Suit Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” MCA Records MCA-5267 (Stereo) from 1981. Hard to find Soundtrack from the Luis Valdez film starring Edward James Olmos, Tyne Daly, Charles Aidman, John Anderson and Daniel Valdez who also wrote the Original Music and did Adaptations of others. Also includes a tune co-written by Valdez and Lalo Guerrero and two other Guerrero compositions. Additional Orchestrations, Arrangements and Orchestra Conducted by Shorty Rogers. There are not really any credits for the Players beyond “The American Zoot Band” and Vocals by Edward James Olmos, Daniel Valdez and the backing Vocalists Anacani, Candice L. Silva and Bertha Oropeza but I am fairly certain Tito Puente plays and possibly Eddie Cano amongst others. CONDITION The Sleeve shows some slight shelf wear and a tiny little touch of corner softening. There is a Gold Promo Stamp on the front cover with no writing, light aging small split on back and should easily rate at least VG+ if not EX. The Vinyl itself is in Pristine, Glossy condition and looks close to unplayed.
