4dwebservices Store You are bidding on RARE Frank Zappa LP "We're Only In It For The Money" on Verve records.
This is the censored version with "THE MOTHERS" label (as described below) from 1968.

"The censored version of We're Only In It for the Money was released for only a brief time in 1968. Ironically, given MGM's disdain for the group's original name, the censored version seems to have been issued with a sticker affixed to the cover of the album itself (immediately over Jimmy Carl Black's head) that simply said "THE MOTHERS". This copy is in very good condition. I do not have a working turntable (recently sold most of my records) so I can only give a visual assessment. Disc is in very good condition with a couple of very light surface scratches that should not affect playability of the record. Blue Verve label. Gate-fold cover is in very good condition with a little bit of shelf wear and beginning to split at top edge. Insert is in excellent condition. Plain inner sleeve is in very good condition with slight tanning and 2 small rips near edge. Note punch out hole at lower left of front cover.
