Description

Mega Rare LP of The Great Zoot Sims - Down Home (Bethlehem BCP-6051 - mono)  original 1950s red label edition with deep groove rings on both sides - NOT a current re-issue!   Possibly Zoot's best 1950s LP features the tenor legend along with Dave McKenna, George Tucker and Dannie Richmond in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.


The LP is in VG/VG+ condition with marks that will make consistent surface noise (snap crackle pop!) and with much of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but not actually trashed either - plays better than it looks, but still, you will hear noise throughout this LP.  The cover is in VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear, clear tape on the top and bottom seams, and writing on the back liner.  Definitely NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore? 

The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).

International mailing costs:   International overseas mailing to Europe for one LP would be $31.00.  One LP to Japan, Southeast Asia and Australia would be $36.00.  One LP to Canada would be $27.00.
