Description
The Classic first Record by King Crimson, first press, with the pink/white ‘I’ Island labels. A lovely sounding copy, played through several times, free of sounding scratches, skips and jumps, but not entirely free of the crackle that always seems to come with the first press. There is some light pop.and crackle, particularly on Moonchild.
A3/B4 matrices. No names or other marks in sleeve or record. Inner is plain white.
Sleeve is very good, with a few marks along the bottom edge, top edge and spine. Unspoiled by exactly 50 years since release, with E.J.Day credits. Overall, an easy very good plus.
A great collection asset. I spent many years looking for this pressing - and then two turned up! I won’t say how much I paid for this, but it is a lot more than the starting price and I thought it was good value.
Note: if auction price exceeds £75, I will despatch by tracked/signed for post.
