Description

Century/Dimension 70 (MPO Box 862 Springfield, Mo) 26954 vinyl single (late 1950s)      Benny Pratt and the Gasconders   Walkin' b/w He's Slipping Around On You

Vinyl is VG+; labels show wear ( side 2 label somewhat shriveled), possibly having resulted from original pressing

Very little documentation on the internet for this great pairing, clearly influenced by Elvis, Scotty & Bill's classic sides on Sun. Apparently never comped. The label's name and color scheme oddly suggest this might date from circa 1969-70, but our ears say no, this is authentic local 50s rockabilly.
