Description
This a truly odd one here. This 3- song flexi-disc was made in 1970 on the " EARTH MATRiX LTD." label. It is more on the folky side, the first song is Susan Manning signing"Come into my Garden" to her lover to come into her garden with much double entendre of the poking and sliding and coming lyrics and she sings you can come in via the rear gate if you want to, kind of hokey and cute but still cool. The second song is a long version of ""the Patriot Game" with an electric trio ( Jack Purdy,David Taylor, and Donald Colwell with groovy mellow electric guitar licks ala Working Man's Dead or Allman Bros. style. The third song on the flip side is a duo ofWall Matthewsand Mac Walter two acoustic guitars with a song that reminds me alot of some of David Crosby's Byrds tunes ( "Triad "Everyone has been Burned Before")'in both vocals and guitar styling. The picture sleeve is a thicket of Cannabis and Magic Mushrooms. It came with this publication put out by the American University.The cover is a take on the Beatles White album design and there are some interesting period student writings and amateurish Underground comics. It fits into a slipcase with a psychedelic fish-eye photo of a hippie meditating under a tree. Heavy, man. The disc is in excellent condition having only been played a few times. and the magazine and case are in very good condition .
