Description
Very obscure UK folk blues album that was pressed by Thor Records, who were also home to the Captain Marryat LP – in fact that was the label’s next pressing (this is Thor 1006, Captain Marryat was Thor 1007). As with the label’s other albums, this has a very basic, generic sleeve design. This copy was sent by the band to Radio Clyde, hence their front cover inscription. Has a very light sticker stain on front and back covers, while the back also has a little bit of writing (Radio Clyde obviously earmarked ‘Maids When You’re Young’ for airplay!). The ultra-thick vinyl looks and sounds as if it’s only been played a couple of times. Obviously a very limited pressing, would guess a maximum of 200 copies were pressed, probably less.
